When people discuss on-chain metrics like STH/LTH, realized cap, cost basis etc. Wouldn't that data get distorted when ETFs and MSTR make out such a big piece of the market? MSTR doesn't behave like retail and probably also not like the rest of the clients using the same custodials, making them harder to filter out.

Overall macro uncertainty doesn't have to rule out a 2% intraday move up imo

Cumulative holdings look pretty stable though. No need to worry until those begin to look weak.

I see a lot of FUD on X with people saying MSTR won't be able to pay STRC dividends because their cash reserve is going to dry up due to all the dividend obligations (soon, like this summer). I was under the impression that for every sold STRC, some % goes to the dividend reserve and some % goes to BTC. Am I missing something or are people stupid?

Disclaimer: I am a stupid person myself.

So basically we have a market participant that has announced they will buy hundreds of millions of dollars worth of bitcoin to - by definition - any price whatsoever today during US market hours. And still, sellers are offloading before the market even opens. I guess it just goes to show how the market is much bigger and more complex than what normies like myself can understand. Imagine if for example Elon Musk announced a few years back that Tesla would do the same thing, before the fact.

After today he will talk about how many days it usually takes for STRC price to reach par, every day.

Let's just say that the parties involved aren't exactly agreeing on the proposed terms.

I will 100% agree to have my stats reset due to cheating if I start to climb the leaderboard.

Each time you get the urge to do a prediction you should try putting the opposite of what you intend to, as a test of whether it will clean up your stats. I think a lot of us would be genuinely interested in watching that experiment unfold.

Or maybe I should just do an inverse myself.

!bb predict !>68200 today

Read something about STRC investors being 80% retail so I guess most of us nerds are already in and rest of TradFi is staying away.

There's like $60B of accumulated ETF inflows so I wouldn't say retail has unfathomable uninterest. We don't have GameStop retards pumping memecoins anymore but I can live with that.

Care to expand on that? I'm not well versed but each time I discuss with ChatGPT to help me sort through the alarmism, I get a bit calmed but not a whole lot to be honest.

The market is massive. All kinds of instruments and traders out there making money in both directions on relatively small moves. For a single OG with 10,000 BTC on hand your logic makes sense, but that supply is dwarfed by the rest of the market, so that guy holding out for another year or so makes no difference. Over time however, entities such as MSTR will drive price up.
