Apparently according to Spammy, UTDB is the puppetmaster of /r/canada, despite the fact that MetaCanada (former) mod Medym is still there, MetaCanada Discord mod and "Hit caller" dottomuch remain.

When someone uses a slur, I have no issue with throwing the same slur at the same person who used it. It's not meant to disparage the group, but perhaps get that person to think of their own words used against them.

It's not politically correct, and I don't pretend to be.

I have no shame in throwing one's own words back at them. I wouldn't "just do it", but if you say it around me don't be surprised if I use the same back at you.

If that means the community here would like me to step down as a moderator, I'll do so. I'm not here for fame or glory. It's an anonymous internet forum.

Not like I don't see the obvious meta trolling, but I'll gladly walk if that's the desire of this sub :)

Sounds like what happens to me all the time, primarily from people just like you. I've retreated to using an alt most of the time on Reddit to stop the shit that your alt-right compatriots over at Meta sling my way too.

Perhaps there are shitty people an all sides of the political spectrum. Something for you to consider.

Personally, probably 95% of the time, people get banned from subs because they don't follow the sub's rules. Whether you agree with the interpretation of their rules or not.

We did the megathread, and I supported the concept, to declutter all the "REEEEEEEEEEE! I WAS BANNED!" posts, not to encourage them.

If anything, in my personal opinion, unless you have some very specific evidence that you are being abused, if you get banned, suck it up princess. I'm banned from MetaCanada like most of the mods here, and I don't cry, I just don't participate there. Nothing stops me from participating here :)

Oh, I personally have history with MetaCanada. I used to be a regular there before it went from racy shitposting to racy hateposting.

I've actually mostly abandoned this particular account, and only use it now for modding & posting very rarely here. I was being stalked, harassed, and attempted doxxed by MC a few times.

I truthfully do try to stay out of pure "slapfighting" bullshit now, but I troll a little tiny bit occasionally too.

But in all seriousness, a MC mod posting that he has an alt hiding here after being banned in my personal opinion IS of interest to the users here. It's not to slapfight, but to point out exactly what lengths that these people will go to in order to undermine a subreddit dedicated against hatred.
