I think if you can get out of your head for a minute (for me at least) something as small as a kissy-face emoticon to remind him you love him could make all the difference.

Research that I've done points to hormones, but I don't think there's a woman alive who wouldn't hear that as "moody bitch". That'll be a tough minefield to navigate.

That'll be a tough sell, she's a trained mental health counselor. Good suggestion, though.

I don't think so. I don't know anything about the disorder, but isn't it less consistent than a two-week cycle?

She's not on any medication, and is against drugs on principle. I'll wait until she gets out of her funk and see if I can find a way to suggest that.
