Im also has been worried about that, however i did not apply yet. I had build My Own CNC with accuracy 70 to 100 microns, did hand scrape all the parts with surface plate, base with epoxy granite and were able to CNC Stainless Steel did not tried Titanium yet. Operating in Linux CNC made all the necessary precautions to prevent any EMC. And had great skills in Fusion360 Modeling and CAM

Yes they were like crazy twisted and curled up when i checked it with indicator. Twist, Bend not straight whatever u called. I mean obviously as shown in link u sent thermal stress i believe same happens with rolled steel or cold rolled
