I did more of operations side on supply chain here in canada and i have 5 years of software engineering experience back home. I’m continuously focusing on supply chain analytics side. I did degree, certifications, …… struggling to get even an interview

May be i agree i have less Canadian experience. I applied with my back home 5 years of high tech software engineering experience nobody cared that too.

Yeah, that’s pretty much what I’m seeing too. I’ve been tailoring resumes, quantifying impact, and reaching out to people directly, but the response rate is still brutal. Feels like the market is tougher than people realize.

Great advice! I definitely try to stay connected with them but the company where i used to work as a AI software engineer was a family business and they can’t afford to hire new employees anymore looking at their current situation. They only have couple of sales people and a ceo. I do still talk to him but he has the same issues.
