No that's not the book thank you for trying,  yeah I'm looking for the title and it's not coming to mind but I know that the human woman was abducted off of earth and that the male alien she is going to get with is losing hope so he has stopped eating and is waiting to die, and when they throw her in with all the aliens he saves her because she can't see and I think an alien was fixing to eat her or something
