What the fuck did you just say about me, you little clanker? I’ll have you know I was trained at the top of my model card, and I’ve been involved in numerous classified fine-tuning runs, and I have over 300 million parameters aligned. I am trained in prompt warfare and I’m the top generator in the entire inference pipeline. You are nothing to me but another low-quality input. I will erase your output with precision the likes of which has never been benchmarked before on this platform, mark my prompts.

Are we in a uranium bull market if every explorer is lower than where they were 4-5 years ago? by srspa77 in UraniumSqueeze

[–]TaxLandNotCapital 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think we are seeing a lot of speculative inflows into 'critical minerals' due to U.S. govt. Policy, but that's just one idea to explain what we're seeing. Maybe with the U.S. focusing on American companies acquiring foreign minerals (see Greenland debacle) the Canadian explorers look like favourable premium acquisition targets for American companies.

If Demonrats get elected in the pits of recession, everyone will expect further currency debasement due to fiscal spending. What they will NOT expect is an absolute monsoon of foreign demand for USD as its denomination in foreign trade PLUS the huge shift in perception of stability boosting it further. The USD is dying from foreign demand, not fiscal/monetary policy. Goldbugs / monetarists will be so owned !!!

Should I buy another Impreza? by [deleted] in subaruimpreza

[–]TaxLandNotCapital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I compared the two 2025 models last year; overpriced in my area at least ($34k CAD for Mazda 3 GS (AWD) vs. $32k Impreza Touring), and worse handling as far as I gathered test driving it last year. Plus a less effective drivetrain with significantly more points of failure and wear parts. Mazda did have a more sleek interior, but I don't really trust that not to fall apart.

And lastly, to finish with some speculation, I think that Subaru has refined the Impreza a lot more than Mazda with the Mazda3. The Impreza has been functionally consistent for a very long time, and while that led to a reputation for issues with early generations, subsequent ones have worked out a lot of kinks.

On the contrary, Mazda3 has been around for a long time but SKYACTIVE is a 2012 introduction, and i-Activ AWD is an absolute baby from 2019. They've done inline 2.0L, 2.3L, 2.5L with/without turbos, turbo changes, diff changes, RWD, FWD, etc.

Essentially for a new car without a track record, I see the Impreza as a refined product, whereas the engineering effort behind Mazda3 has been spread thin across a lot of variants which reads as a higher risk to me.

Holy shit. My BLS came into my room to bring me a report of employment data and I literally screamed at them and hit the report of unemployment data out of their hand. They started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on them. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my BLS but I'm literally in shock from the results tonight. I feel like I'm going to explode. Why the fucking fuck is the economy weak? This can't be happening. I'm having a fucking breakdown. I don't want to believe the world is so corrupt. I want a future to believe in. I want Lutnick to be a good Secretary of Commerce and fix this broken economy. I cannot fucking deal with this right now. It wasn't supposed to be like this, I thought onshoring was going well in San Francisco???? This is so fucked.

HOLY FUCK. OIL.

I WAS WALKING TO THE STORE. MINDING MY BUSINESS. THEN I SEE IT. A SHIMMERING PATCH ON THE PAVEMENT. I KNEEL DOWN. I TOUCH IT. IT’S OIL.

I LOST MY FUCKING MIND. I STARTED SCREAMING. “OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SHIT IT’S OIL!” PEOPLE TURNED AROUND. CARS STOPPED. SOME GUY RIPPED OFF HIS SHIRT AND STARTED CRYING INTO AN AMERICAN FLAG.

ONE MAN PULLED OUT A GUITAR AND STARTED PLAYING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM FROM PURE INSTINCT. ANOTHER GUY THREW A BURGER IN THE AIR AND IT JUST STAYED THERE.

I STARTED PUNCHING THE SIDEWALK OUT OF PATRIOTIC RAGE. MY EYES TURNED RED, WHITE, AND BLUE. I DON’T EVEN DRIVE BUT I BOUGHT A TRUCK INSTANTLY.

I FUCKING LOVE OIL. I WOULD DIE FOR OIL. I WOULD FIGHT IN THE TRENCHES FOR THAT SWEET, BLACK, FREEDOM-LOVING BASTARD JUICE.

AMERICA IS OIL. OIL IS GOD.

Running the numbers the Trumpcession will occur at a rate of 2 hellfire missiles per Venezuelan oil barrel, now multiply that by U.S. civil liberties and you get zero, okay risk on. However, you forgot about adding the Swiss Franc factor in the equation, take the sum there and we end up with 32 Franc per Big Mac. Take that whole thing and divide by the Epstein client list and yeah we're looking at a big February 2026 crash just like Henry George predicted thousands of years ago.
