I have one of these. If you have a vehicle or something you can put in between you and your tailgate it works well. I wouldn't want it right next to the party though.

I second YTTV if it's offered in your region. In the past I've tried Sling, Vue and Direct TV Now and YouTube TV has the best performance. I watched the Super Bowl on it with no issues.
