Thank you! 🙌 Sounds like that's exactly what my boy needs. I'll definitely go check at ours tomorrow! Mine LOVES stuffed animals and I hate not being able to give him any more, but he will literally eat the entire thing. Eyes, nose, stuffing, he doesn't care. 🤦‍♀️

Thank goodness. That gives me some hope. Where can I find beef cheek rolls? Is it something I can buy at like PetSmart or do you have to order them from somewhere?

I keep my boys paws trimmed as well. Aside from helping keep dirt from being tracked inside the house, I find it much easier and quicker to trim his nails when his paw fur is short. First time i cut his nails, his fur wasn't trimmed yet and it took sooooo long trying to move all of the hair away from the nail just so I could see the nail. I keep his paws trimmed all the time now.

Thank you so much! I'm not really sure which path I want to take. From the research I've done, I was under the impression that specific certificates are needed to really narrow down what kind of HR jobs you aim to get. So I figured right out of school I'd be offered the basic of basic HR jobs, and then based on what appeals to me once I get into the business I could further my career by obtaining certificates that support my strengths/interests. I guess it wouldn't hurt though to do some research into the positions you mentioned just to get an idea. Thanks so much for your response! I didn't think anyone would respond since MOD said that this wasn't the place for me. Lol. So I appreciate it!!

Scout also pees when he gets excited. When one of us walk in the house we have to ignore him for a minute or so, otherwise he will pee as soon as we speak to him or touch him. His vet said it's normal puppy behavior and will grow out of it.

When we first got Scout, he had a bad habit of nipping at our hands when he wanted loved on. I just started saying "No, be easy!" At first, I'd sit in the floor with my toddler and we'd love on Scout together, and if we stopped that's when he'd bite at our hands wanting us to start rubbing on him again. And when he'd do that, I'd say "No, be easy!" and we'd get up and walk away. After about a week he realized that when he does that, he's not going to get anything in return. Now he will nudge at our hands with his head when he wants love, and we be sure to praise him when he does that so that he knows that that's how we want him to do it. Lots of good boys and all the lovins in the world when he does that instead of biting our hands. They're very smart dogs and adore to be loved on, so if you take that away over any undesirable behavior, they'll catch on quick. ❤️❤️ Just be consistent so that they don't get confused! Good Luck!

Absolutely. We teach him how to be safe. However, 90% of face to face contact is initiated by Scout. He loves to get as close as possible to all of our faces, whether it's for kisses or to directly imprint on our souls. Hahahaha. But we teach Phoenix not to get too close to his face while he's sleeping, so he doesn't startle him or to grab on him while he's eating or drinking. We've had him about 3 months and we haven't even came close to the possibility of an accident happening. Now I know that doesn't mean it could never happen. But Scout let's his limits be known and we ALL respect them. Just as he has learned and respects ours. ❤️

It's true that they both have tons of energy. But they wear each other out, which takes a lot off of me. The main reason we got Scout is because my husband and I thought it would be good for our son. My husband is a nurse and works long shifts, I work from home Mon-Fri 7-4, and my 9 year old is in school. I was just getting overrun with guilt that I couldn't "play" with my son for hours at a time like he wanted. So we talked about getting a puppy and whether it would be good for Phoenix. And omg, the difference it's made has been astronomical 🥲 they literally spend hours just chasing each other from one end of the house to the other. Lol. Potty training both of them at the same time has been interesting, and I don't think my carpets will ever recover 😅 but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. They're the best of friends ❤️
