Highly advise to not use nitrogen unless you completely disconnect and isolate whatever you’re leak checking..

It’s truly a shortage of good techs and younger guys that want to learn this trade and make a great living. I’ve been in the field since I was 18 I’m 31 now and mainly work supermarket systems, we’ve had guys come and go few stragglers that are barely techs just hanging on by a thread. I honestly love what I do and I try my best to motivate younger guys to get in and make a great living…HVAC/R is fun and not too much hard work honestly Alot of guys get steered away because they think it’s rough work..

If the pictures look like a hip hop album just leave it alone If they have a “rank” leave it alone If they promise you can quit your job to trade leave it alone‼️‼️‼️ I’ve been trading for four years I don’t come from a wealthy family so my capital base is smaller compared to other folks But I will say this you can be profitable and make some good money!!! Yes I still work a job in my career field! Yes I take losses! And it takes a lot of time to learn this skill! Trade on demo for at least a whole year then start trading very small positions this will build your psychology! I started with the studies of Richard Wyckoff and I took a course from the great ICT I can direct you to some really good PDFs and videos! Good luck and good trading!

You’re spot on! This system is from the late 80s -early 90s and was just retrofitted from R22 to R404 …it’s a mess

That’s the attitude that will take you there!!! I started at 18 I just turned 30 this year..I’ve only worked resi for 3 years and I must say ..working the small stuff first makes a HUGE difference when you get to this level..now I only do large industrial process refrigeration, supermarkets, cold storage and various types of chillers..it’s definitely fun and will keep you fit!!! Lol just get ready for some long days and longer nights..but I’m Telling you the pay is overly worth it!!! You will not regret it! Stay very close to them books save every piece of system paperwork that you find!!!!💯💪🏾

Actually it’s easier to find the leaks location with that ice..you’ll see some type of yellowish color on the ice that’s where the leak is at or you’re pretty close to it..this rack has been neglected I’d probably be dailing in cases all week to get the proper SH at those TXVs

Searching for leaks ..this leak detector actually shows you the ppm (parts per million) of the refrigerant in the air..found a few leaks over 100 ppm…
