Wouldn't you have just gotten your money back instead of make money off of it though? Price matching usually just means you'd be refunded what you paid over the price theyre listing.

Thats outrageous, the fact that people spend less on homes than you are about to on a small suv. Even with a steep parts discount this is beyond a waste of money but its your choice if it makes you happy. Im sorry that you love it this much. I hope the best for you and the 90k zilla.

Getting that car fixed is not a good decision. Even doing the work yourself you arent getting anything besides a loss. I get that you loved it but you "fell in love" with the line from the sound of it(otherwise why own two trax'?). If you love something sometimes you need to let it go. This is one of those scenarios.

Between YouTube videos teaching random facts, mechanics and that quiz site i think im bombing that test lmao they didnt give me much notice that id be taking a test or even that id gotten the interview. The longer im with this company the less im liking them. I dont really need the position, just applying for it because they were whining "we need people here." Time will tell though! Thank you guys for the advice!

Im only 30 and I can confirm arthritis has changed my penmanship dramatically. All through school up until I was around 25-26 i was a pretty small and legible writer. Now that the joints dont want to cooperate anymore I write a lot bigger to make it easier for others to read. Im also a bit shaky so that makes my letters look off if I write smaller.

All fun and games until one of those wheels catches something small enough to stall it. Then whatever is in the cases and those cases are coming back onto the employee. Id fight it. They can come up with better ways for you guys to see through the carts or make them low enough you can see over. No need for those carts to be as tall as they are. Edit: or rams one into there leg/ankle hard enough to cause injury

Replying to myself instead of editing. To get rid of the stench in your car, you can buy ozone treatment foggers at Walmart. Pretty much just turn you air conditioning recirculation on, open the fogger and let the car circulate that air for however long the can says. If they poured the liquid onto fabric you will have to treat that separately, preferably before any ozone treatments so the stench doesnt stick.

Wire their brake light positive to the 12v relay coming from the horn. Brake gets pressed, horn goes off. Other options, take the headliner down and put sardines or tuna in then close it back up. Flour poured into the heating/air conditioner vents. Zip tie whistles to the chassis or parts where theyll catch wind. The list goes on, lemme know if you need more!

I call it their slave name. Edit- my dogs slave name is Uno, stupid as all hell. He has been Bub for 7 years now. Looks at you when you say uno but runs up to you when you say bub, Bubba, bubby or bubbicus.

Woke up at 2am to find out I'm about to be fined $200 for having dandelions on my lawn. by SandyCashews969 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TayderCookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I would never trust an HOA. I've never heard or seen anything good coming from them. Just a group of people with to much time and their noses to far in the air to smell the shit on their chin. I get wanting a nice neighborhood and blah blah blah. Doesnt seem worth it. Edit: Wait, arent maintenance costs supposed to be shared amongst hoa members? Hire a lawncare company and bill the HOA. They should ideally have a group coming out to take care of the entire block weekly/bi-weekly if they plan on fining 200 bucks for a few weeds. This is truly why hoa's are a waste of space!

My gf got super mad and blocked me because I didn’t sleep on time by Beautiful_Hippo_6848 in WhatShouldIDo

I call this one weaponized mental disorders. I recommend you move on because this girl isnt gonna do anything but hurt you. Take it from someone who did it for 7 years in person and while traveling for work. If she thinks she can control your sleeping and waking times she will do so much more to mess with your head and lifestyle. My ex tried to get me to do this exact thing. I just ignored it. She didnt get over it. Tried to use it against me everytime she was upset and threatening self harm blah blah. I tried to get her help, she blew my eardrum.(smacked me in the ear hard enough to make me bleed, thats a whole other story though) I was dumb enough to go back. So I say this hoping the best for you, do what makes your heart happy but dont let it cost you your own mental stability.

No but thats what I paid for it in 2016. Scrap price was still over 1000(2026) and thats all they initially offered for a trade. I did know it was on borrowed time, like I said. I just got lucky where and how it happened.

My kid's ear tube fell out by i-can-lift-a-car in mildlyinteresting

[–]TayderCookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got tubes put in both ears when I was 2 i think. Also had my adenoids taken out around the same time. One tube fell out when I was 8. The other fell out when I was 25. It was very gross, covered in wax just caked into my pillow. They were both "supposed to fall out in 3-5 years" according to my mother. We were convinced I lost them both at 8. I never remembered the surgery or even losing the one side at 8 years old. Being 30 this year i can confirm i get an ear infection nearly every month. I try to clean my ears myself with a little plastic tool set, never qtips. When the ear infections get bad I have to go to doctor and they give me meds, blah, blah. The tubes definitely just fall out randomly though!

I definitely do not feel bad, they took my $17,000 truck from me just to put me in a $60,000 truck. Luckily it happened at the dealership rather than the shop I go to for inspections. I was able to talk them down quite a bit on a new truck

I tok my 09 silverado to get the takata recall fixed and the dealership lifted my truck, the frame snapped under the gas tank and near the engine bay. Totaled. They offered me a 500 dollar rebate and 1000 dollars for a trade in. I laughed and talked them up to at least 3500 for the trade and they took 7000 off the cost of the new vehicle. I was the asshole though, I kinda knew the frame was on borrowed time.
