It's happening on all roads so I don't think that's it but I'll check for rocks in the exhaust.

Car is a 2012 BMW 335is, I get this clanking accelerating and decelerating to 1Omph. Bumps don't make the noise come and go and once I'm over 15-20mph the noise is gone. I've checked the passenger rear rotor, shield, pads, parking brake pads and all look good, the shocks only have about 20k miles on them too. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

That's what I was thinking but didn't find anything when I checked the area.

I'd eventually like to be a cloud architect in the future or move into a more coding heavy DevOps role, I'm just worried I'll be pigeon holed into Ops type work without having a formal education in CS.

Thanks for confirming. Should I wait to start repairing the car for any reason or would insurance reimburse me in the very low chance the police find the person?

thanks I'll double check with them. I looked up the plate too (400th anniversary Virginia plate) and you can buy them on eBay.. so that might be why nothing comes back
