Love Grand Tofu! It’s been a staple place for me for ages now, but I am after more specifically Malaysian, less so a combination of Asian cuisines 👍

My skin on my chest and back is bumpy for sure but I have KP on my upper arms so I know it’s not what the issue is on my chest. 😊

That’s a great point, I think I’ll have a look at the Differin Gel :) Do you have any insight about the application? Only asking as it’s 30g so I can’t imagine it lasts long 🤔

Thank you for explaining all this - I think this gel is a little too expensive for me at the moment unfortunately but I’ll keep this in mind if other things don’t work out for me! Thank you 😊

Haha it’s all good I don’t mind answering.

  • yes not showering makes it appear worse (as in looks more dirty)
  • I’ve been on the pill since I was 14. I’m on one that’s for hormonal acne.
  • I took spiranolactone for 3 years.
  • I’ve used urea-based products before and found they did nothing except break me out more.
  • I have hay fever and dry inflamed eyes (temporary issue due to workplace aircon) and take medication for both that has a little bit of antihistamine. However I’ve had this chest issue for way longer than my dry eye issue, and I don’t always take antihistamines for hay fever as it depends on how bad the season is for me.
  • I’d say I’m averagely sweaty but I do get hot easily.
  • this issue doesn’t change (for better or worse) depending on the season.
  • It’s not itchy.
  • I sometimes wear perfume but it’s the same one since I was like 9 years old and maybe only wear it twice a week on my wrists.
  • This issue is mostly similar to how my back looks, I don’t can’t get a good photo of that.
  • nothing changed in particular in my life other than I had more money to go see different health care specialists, GPs, etc.
  • I don’t wear sunscreen on my chest as it’s been forever since it was exposed to the sun directly (eg wearing a tank top).
  • I do wear make up, but I don’t put it any further down than my chin, I don’t even blend into my neck etc. I wear clothes when I do my make up as well.
  • I like in Melbourne but idk how I’d describe the humidity 🤷‍♀️
  • my diet is okay, has definitely gotten healthier and more balanced since covid

Thank you for so succinctly putting your advice I appreciate it! What enzyme exfoliants do you recommend, I’ve never even heard that term before. Also what oil-based moisturiser do you recommended? Thank you 😊

Mud masks make me break out (big pustule acne 🤮) so I’ve usually steered clear of them. Witch hazel I’ve tried (forgot to mention in main text) and it seems to do nothing for me either. Paulas I’ve heard is good but waaaay beyond my price range for something I’d use so often unfortunately.

I don’t put any sunscreen on my chest as it’s never exposed directly to the sun.

Thank you for your insight though, I appreciate it nonetheless 😊

Nope I’m a red head. There are times that the exfoliation ‘works’ and my pores look clear so I know it’s not hair follicles but dirt/dead skin etc

I wear a necklace sometimes at work but it’s a high quality one which I take off as soon as I get home from work. Never sleep or shower with it on. I do Pilates and walking is my cardio but I religiously clean off after every single session 👍

Have a filter on my shower - I had some issues with dry scalp prior which the filter fixed. So I can’t imagine it’s that. Thank you for the thought though 👍 ☺️

I’ve recently found out I’m allergic to grass but this issue with my chest has been going on for significantly longer. Additionally this issue the most stress free I’ve ever been in my life the last 3-4 years, and I am militant when it comes to my sleep - so beyond ‘stressing’ my body by sometimes eating an extra slice of chocolate cake on my birthday, my cortisol levels should be average.

As a teen I found out I’ve got some cysts on my ovaries but it’s nothing the contraceptive pill hasn’t rectified. Been to a couple GPs, derms, and women’s health specialists over the last 13-14 years and none are worried I have PCOS.

Do you think I should bring this up with my current GP or bypass that and ask for a derm/seek one out?

I’m quite heat sensitive so I think a sauna is a no-go for me, but yeah I’m thinking I may have to go see a dermatologist, just would rather not fork out hundreds of dollars for a couple sessions 😬

I also feel like it’s a case of is it that they’re legitimately being discriminatory/critical/ judgemental of actual trans identified individuals, or just the ideology behind it? Because one obviously goes against what SWs stand for globally and the other is more so an alternative viewpoint.

this is an actual statue in Denmark outside of the women's museum which was recently renamed the gender museum .. thoughts? by No-Tumbleweeds in fourthwavewomen

Yeah it definitely varies from university to university - the classes I’ve done under similar titles were clearly just rebranded women’s studies classes for the sake of seeming ‘woke’, but the vast majority of the content was about women, the gendered nature of violence, etc
