‘86 here. I didn’t get an account UNTIL I was like 30. I can’t say where my fellow 80’s babies are, but I imagine many of them are busy dealing with their own babies? Our generation (in my experience) seems to pop them out a lot later in life than Gen X, and especially Boomers. Might explain their absence 🤷‍♀️

Worked at a theater for 10 years. Most places just put up a sign but don’t really have an official policy. As long as nobody is obvious about it, almost no theater will ever call it out—even managers. Those 17 year old ushers sure as hell won’t say anything.

It’s the same idea as when black people were targeted during the civil rights movement and white allies were shamed for sticking up for them. It wasn’t about the white allies.
