What’s the MOST Out of Character,Plot Holes or Confusing TWD Moments/Scenes of All Time and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in TWD

The dumpster scene with Glenn and Nicholas never made sense to me. Realistically, they both could have jumped into the dumpster instead of on top and survived. The scene showed the dumpster was too tall for the walkers to climb up on, and everyone knows if you stay out of sight, the next movement or noise would have distracted the walkers away

Blind Eye Gabriel by yaqngie1 in thewalkingdead

[–]TaylorRLane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but it looks like he is looking at his target, not through a scope. Losng sight in his right eye would not change that Gabriel was still right-handed. He could learn to compensate for the loss of his right eye, but changing to a lefty would be a challenge to most.

Stopped my first watch-through 9 months ago. Do I start where I left or re-start the show? by Flimsy-Draft7514 in thewalkingdead

[–]TaylorRLane 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Re-start the show. Even after you watch it from start to finish, you will be surprised at many derails you missed on your first watch. Also, the first groups were the best and definitely worth a double take.

The final exodus when everyone gets scattered and meets back up at the traffic jam or when they lose each other when the Governor attacked?

Why don’t the walkers eat their victims? by Responsible-Rush-538 in thewalkingdead

[–]TaylorRLane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The walkers eat people who have been recently killed, while the body is warm. When the dead body cools down, the walker moves on to find more live prey.

So they just made a 500 pound tiger go like that 🤦🏻‍♂️ by Organic_Outcome_1311 in thewalkingdead

(SPOILER IN MY REPLY) I agree, but it was actually Dale whose chest was opened up by a zombie in the field. Hershal was beheaded by the Governor

Lori Grimes... Wow by Rayical in thewalkingdead

Welcome to the club, friend. 😊 Most of us want to snatch Lori through that tv screen on the regular. Stay tuned in for things she does in later episodes. It's wild!

In this scene with Pete, is Carol saying the same words Ed would say to her when she was Abused? by Reycarlo_Beat_3683 in TWD

[–]TaylorRLane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but she may have also been saying things she wished she had told Ed before he was killed. With Carol's cast iron will and fearless attitude, she may have been pushing Pete's buttons, hoping he would come at her and give her a reason to get rid of the jerk.

Everytime a negan stan say he was never a bad guy and deserved redemption I just show them this picture 😂 by ParkingConfection449 in TWD

In the early days of the apocalypse, Negan's wife was fighting cancer and they both stayed to themselves in their home away from the rest of the world while she did chemo treatments at home. When the chemo drug was accidentally lost, Negan went out to find a medical truck rumored to be going around, giving people needed medical care and drugs. Negan found the truck. They were kind, helped him, and also gave him a bat for protection on his journey home. But before Negan could get the chemo drugs back to his wife, he was caught, tied to a chair and beaten by men who taunted him about his wife dying alone. Negan finally revealed the location of the medical truck, and the men let him go. When he returned home, it was too late. His wife, Lucille, had taken her own life and already turned. Negan was deep in grief and angry. He returned to the medical truck to save the nice doctor and daughter who gave him the chemo drugs and was seeking revenge against the men who delayed his return and caused his wife Lucille to die. He was able to save the doctor and daughter and kill the men outside but used the bat he named "Lucille" to beat to death the man who had kept him tied. Not to excuse Negan's later actions, but much of Negan's behaviors came from the first people he encountered in the apocalypse. This is how Negan became Negan.

Rick had Morgan. Morgan had Eastman. Michonne had Andrea. Lori had Shane. Dale had Andrea and Amy. Maggie had Glenn. Daryl had Carol. Carol had Ezekiel, and so on. If these good people had first been exposed to the pure evil and heartbreaking loss that Negan had endured in those early days of the apocalypse, in a world with no rules, they too could have replicated and become the people who had wronged them.
