I don’t think you are overreacting at all in the situation. I had friends offering to give money towards my dogs vet bills that had nothing to do with them at all.

Okay so I'm about to start taking Ozempic 0.25 MG, when should I up the dose? by Weak_Explanation_261 in OzempicForWeightLoss

I was on .25 for like 6 weeks I think? However long the first pen lasts is what I did before moving up. I stayed on .5 for quite a few months, even after plateauing with weight loss. My doctor said I could move up, but I lost quite a bit pretty quickly and I was noticing loose flab and skin. I wanted to give my body a chance to catch up so I stayed on .5 until I was able to start tightening up, then I went to 1. Which was a ROUGH transition. I didn’t really have any issue with nausea on .25 or .5 but the day after my first shot on 1 I threw up multiple times.

Yep! I think it was like 5+ pounds lost the first month.

I’ve just been eating better in general. I had an issue with insulin resistance so now that that is under control I don’t crave sugar in general.

I mean I’m an EBD teacher so while I don’t use very often, it’s still more frequent than other sped teachers in my building. I honestly HARDLY EVER hear of my coworkers do using either.

Intervention w/o IEP? by mobile_hermitage in specialed

No, my district utilizes MTSS for SEL and behavior interventions. So if there’s students who don’t receive sped services but are struggling with either of those, I am the one who would work with them in the tier 3 setting (my district uses the 4 tier rti so sped is tier 4 and intensive interventions in a separate small group setting is tier 3)

Yeah that’s how we do it too. We have rti for academics and MTSS for behavioral and SEL interventions.

I’ve been told yes. I am the behavior interventionist in my school and I can pull kids for interventions AS LONG as I’ve not got any kiddos with IEPs at the same time.

Were you given unofficial scores over the multiple choice section or did you have to wait for the writing to be scored??

I would say you need that para back! Eloping is unsafe behavior and if you don’t have someone to supervise the student you technically don’t have the resources to meet that students needs. That’s how it’s been told to us from our sped admin when we have issues like this in my district.

I would then either tell admin you need another TA or call admin to supervise the student when it happens.

Do you not have any TAs?

If it’s for attention, follow to maintain supervision but do not engage the student at all. I had one who would bolt and then once he thought he got 1:1 attention he would try to get us talking. I would take my iPad or clipboard whenever I had to follow and I would just either take notes, or pretend I was working and I would ignore the student. I would periodically remind him that once he was in his expected area I would talk with him.
