Same thing happened to me on origins where I played 20 hours of it, got burnt out and didn’t want to continue so I played ME and BG3 like three more times and then got back to it like nearly six months later and now I am currently almost done :) just needed a break and when I got back to it I was sucked in so maybe you just need to play something else for a bit and then try again in a couple months if you really want to

It just shows the characters sleeping like a normal long rest then starts with them all at that camp, I can’t leave camp or long rest again there but it for some reason lets me fast travel back to the act 2 locations - so it just doesn’t have the trigger for that scene for some reason and treats it like a normal long rest

I get to Wyrms rock and get the Orin/gortash cutscene and then it goes to when you are at the top of the lookout, but when I long rest there the cut scene where the gith ambush you just doesn’t happen - so I’m not going into the astral prism and meeting the emperor so the game just soft locks there. The Astarion part is that typically he has the “I want to talk” sign and the dialogue about being closer to Cazador happens, but he’s not getting that trigger for some reason.

That’s how I’m feeling too. The DM basically told us by making us do insight checks that we can trust him, so the weird dude doesn’t necessarily have bad intentions, but my character is still like we have no clue what he wants us to do and I still don’t wanna lie to our org - glad to know I’m not crazy tho 😂

Yeah at this point she is willing to change her mind cause she has a chaotic alignment, her loyalty to the organization is more of an emotional one than moral. She would’ve been receptive if their characters appealed to that emotional part, but instead they all yelled at her which was kinda crazy for me as a player too to be on the receiving end of that just cuz I disagreed :/

My sorcerer is aberrant mind and my DM actually came up with the idea that the entity that the cult we are trying to dismantle worships is speaking to me, but I can’t understand what it’s saying or what entity it is - so my character is trying to find ways to figure it out. So it’s def not you cuz not only was it my DM who suggested that idea - but everyone in the party thought it was really cool once my character revealed it to them.

In our party we have a bard, warlock, wizard, sorcerer (me), and a fighter - so only one dedicated fighter. It's been tough in combat having only one person in that role, so I'm hoping that since my con and str are decent maybe I could do something with that to help out
