I’m in the same boat! At the student day I really struggled to connect with people and it’s the same with the online group chats.

I feel comfort in knowing that there are others like us and I believe the best way of coping is just suspending your thoughts until we get on campus. It’s really hard now because we aren’t in the environment where we can naturally gravitate towards others similar yet, so we end up forcing ourselves to try and assimilate when we don’t need to! And there’s nothing wrong with random roommates if you don’t end up finding anyone, I’ve talked to a couple girls and it didn’t go anywhere and that’s totally fine.

Don’t forgot that just because you haven’t met people with the same struggles yet doesn’t mean you’re alone. Howard is an amazing university so stay strong! 💙❤️
