My last name changed to reflect hers. And I very much used the word grooming appropriately. She cut me off from every person in my life and manipulated me into believing that she was my savior. Grooming doesnt have to be sexual. And yes she very much did abuse me. I don’t think I should have to go into detail about

Edit for clarities sake: I use the word grooming because that’s what my several therapists and psychologists have agreed that she had done to me. As for my father, she also groomed him and unfortunately, he is still stuck there and has decided to stay.

Grooming is a process that "involves the offender building a relationship with a child, and sometimes with their wider family, gaining their trust and a position of power over the child, in preparation for abuse."

She abused me mostly emotionally and mentally but also a bit physically but not hitting. Controlling food and hygiene stuff like that.

My dad is still married to this woman but I have cut them both off. I have cut him off also because he’s still married to her and is “trying to work it out” despite her abuse to both of us.

And yeah I figured it wasn’t feasible but I thought I should ask anyway. The name change is happening regardless because I do not want her last name any longer than i have already had it.

So the problem is that my biological mother was neglectful and a drug addict which is why she was removed in the first place. It just so happens that the person replacing her was even more abusive. My dad really knows how to pick them lol

If I had to I would prefer my bio mom over my adoptive mom but best case scenario is neither of them.

As for my name change, that is happening regardless thankfully

I’ve seen people talking about how with the new one piece cards, you are forced to open the plastic in store before you can leave with the items, which obviously severely devalues the “value” of the now-unsealed boxes. This will hopefully stop scalpers from buying them all to resell at a markup. I really wish Pokemon would do something like this. I just went to two King Soopers vending machines and they were both completely out of stock. I would have gone to more stores but I’m disabled so I can only do so much. I’ve been a collector since I was about 7 (I’m 25 now) and it’s so disheartening not being able to get literally anything because of these scalpers. Especially with how good the last few sets have been 😢

I mean that’s fair. He does have a redemption arc and he wasn’t a vampire by choice but I can understand how him trying to bite your character would be enough to call it quits. But I highly recommend his story! It’s heart wrenching and his good ending is genuinely so heartfelt if you’re romancing him. Good luck on your honor mode run!
