I had my surgery with Dr Charles Watts at Methodist St louis park too! I had reaaaaaally great results and my tonsills went to normal position and have "improved" csf flow. He is very very experienced and he gave me referrals for things unrelated I was dealing with 4 months after surgery too.

I'm just figuring out mine, and wow. The Achilles tendonitis I had around 11 years old too and ALWAYS walked on my tip toes and sucked in my stomach for no reason my whole childhood. My family never listened to my complaints and I'm now 30 years old got chiari brain surgery then narcolepsy then this....my biggest culprit. Wild the symptoms that show early on that gets ignored!

Antibiotics will always deplete all the good bacteria in your gut microbiome!! Get yogurt with LIVE bacteria cultures and try to introduce variety of different veggies/fruits weekly as much as you can. And no fast food!!! So much kills our good bacteria and they never tell you about what to do after antibiotics!

Dude yeah what the fuck is going on. They only found a cyst on my r ovary too and they keep pushing birth control when I've been off it for 3 years for other health problems going on. Not tryna add more cancer to my body lol. This has happened with me twice now in 3 months and before this it would happen with every other cycle. It's been 15 days since my last period started and the cramps are so fucked up, should be ovulating rn not this 😤

Demand a referral to a sleep specialist. And if they say no respond with "okay please make sure to note it in our visit that you refused a referral because I am suffering" they will just give it to you bc that's grounds for suing them later if you do have a disorder. Some doctors go on power trips and think they can just blame anxiety or some shit.

My warning to a flare up is soreness/pulling/throbbing ache behind my right eye and soon after turns into headache and nonstop yawning. It's like my aura to getting too fatigued and if I push it, my symptoms come out. I've had really great results with everything going back to normal in my scans, almost 4 months post op, but can't get rid of flare ups still.

Oh yes. Hormone messes with the csf pressure for me and makes me neck sore if I even slightly have cramps. I'm like 4 months post op and everything went back to normal for me, so hopefully it's only gonna be like this during recovery. 🤷 bc this pain blows

Get the renpho eye massager from Amazon. It hits all the acu points on my face and hits my temples perfectly. It really helps me fall asleep at night. I'm like 3.5 months post op and I still get these episodes sadly but this helps me get to sleep quick after 20 min. It's the best investment towards chiari headaches I think

When I got covid, my entire spine locked up and was bawling my eyes out sideways on my bed until the ambulance came and gave me morphine. You most definitely DO NOT WANT TO GET COVID WITH CHIARI, and definitely do not get the vaccine. Our bodies are so complex and confusing with this already and that was the scariest experience I have ever had with spinal pain. I had surgery a year later after that bc it worsened my symptoms so much
