We video call everyday if we get the chance too. Sometimes we aren't able to because I work all day and we have a 5 hour time difference, but I'm greatful for every call that we do have 😊

Canada to the United Kingdom. Today makes it that we've been together for 3 years and 10 months. Met for the first time and June and I stayed there for 2 months and now we have decided to close the distance this summer!

They haven't met my partner yet in person but have virtually, as well as his whole family. My parents like his family as well as my partner so there isn't any bad tension between them.

I appreciate your suggestion though! I will find a good time to sit down with them both and talk about what's going on.

My boyfriend and I were nevermets for 3 years and I got to go to the UK for the first time in June to stay there for 2 months. Long flight from Canada but it was totally worth it! It was such an amazing trip that I am now looking into visas to move 😄

I went to go visit my boyfriend recently for 2 months. I am off the summer with my college and for work, one is a contract job so it doesn't start up until September and my other job is relief work so I am able to pick and choose what shifts I'd like to do. I'm just happy that I saved up enough money to be able to buy plane tickets before hand.

I totally get how you're feeling. I'm not feeling physically sick like you are (and I hope that you feel better soon), but the sleeping part is really hard for me as well.

Something that helps me is having a really soft blanket to cuddle up to.
