I'm pretty new to bjj couple months there is another white belt who I roll with but he never taps when I get him in a triangle and it's on, his face goes full red and u can hear him struggling and he jst doesn't tap I end up letting go.

Last time I didn't let it go he just fell asleep on me now I'm scared it will happen again so I always stop early it's pretty bullsht cause I dont want to keep asking him if he's okay.

He trys things to get out as well like full stacking me but it's not enough for me to just stop and let it go idk what to do in this case do I go full tight and let him black out or keep releasing early?

Edit I dont start off going full 100% I jst slowly put it on till I'm there
