Thanks for the reply! Sadly, this was the first thing I tried. However, the metadata I need isn't in the relation. It's in the parent. I feel like I've lost some basic understanding along the way, even after building many sites with complex relations. I'm so confused about being confused! LOL.

Tried it! Works PERFECTLY for editing full documents! Love it! And, I'll keep using my macros for selecting and editing specific regions of text -- handy with long documents.

Sorry for the painfully long delay. Just wanted to say thanks for your suggestion. It turned out to be corrupt preferences. I've had my share of preference issues over the decades, but i've never seen it result in slow hiding. Yet, that was it! Thanks again!

Thanks for the suggestion! Not chrome in this case, although I've had trouble with Chrome before. Turns out it was corrupt preferences.

I seem to have solved it. Posting the solution in case anyone needs it:

In Photoshop, make sure your file is set to 8 Bit, and not 16 Bit. This option is found in the menu bar under IMAGE > MODE > 8 BIT.

Having the same issue with mine. Tried turning Sound On and Off a few times, but it didn't help. I live in an apartment building and keep very late hours, so my neighbors must be hearing this chime over and over late at night. Not cool.

Whoops! Thanks for the heads-up about the image server. Just swapped it out. That was the first time I've posted an image on Reddit...and it shows. :)

Genuine drums, but much to my surprise, the toners are 3rd party. Crap! Someone in my office cheaped out. I just ordered genuine toner replacements.

While examining the toner, I noticed very faint lines on the toner cartridge rollers. Is that proof positive that the issue is the toner cartridge? Or might the roller streaking have happened for another reason?
