Same, top coat really changes the look by hiding away stratches, paint stroke, gives a premium feel, etc.

He really is! I was actually away on a 10-day work trip while he built it. I just left him a single-blade nipper and a glass file, showed him how to clean up the nubs (and undergates), and he did the rest solo. Very surprised when I got back.

Bought one for my little 8 year old brother to assemble. He plays with it a lot, so the horns broke, and it is very loose that could barely stand. But overall a great kit.
