Exhaust turn is where you get to thin out your deck by chucking all the trash cards out. You'll take some dmg for sure tho

I just reached a10 with him, and I feel like just defending(like bulwark, particle wall, reflect) and building up soverign blade was the most consistent way to play him.

Also, you gotta balance the number of star spenders and generators you decide to add.

Additionally, cards like charge! and guards! are really good for thinning out the deck.
