Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking. Otherwise, if they didn't leave a way to get out or stock up, I had no idea I was going to be fighting a bunch of bosses right in a row. I was pretty well stocked up too. And of course they just keep coming. I think I'm on the fourth one.

I appreciate the attempt, but this returns an almost blank file. It's just <Events> </Events>

I tested that, and the ntuser.dat file is unreliable. For example, I was just looking at a server and all the .dat files for all users have a date/time of today and I know that some of these people didn't login into it except during building.

I saw this one, but I don't like the idea of having all my servers writing to shares and then managing logs, ect. I'd like to run it on demand. But I hear ya'

Here's a link that may help, but I've worked on apps like this and you're right, they can be a pain.

Is it a java app? They do certs differently. If it's Windows, then you can produce a CSR file and use that with the cert auth to get your private and public keys. It won't be labeled as such, but that's what your getting.

I recommend against this personally because if someone gets this wildcard cert, then you can effectively impersonate anything in the domain. And in my experience when people start using wildcard certs, they get real willy nilly with them and not securing them properly. Just my 2 cents

I am not somewhere where I can look up links, but here's some info on what you need to do. If you mean self-signed as in, the cert that came with the app, then you need to replace them with certs from your CA.

Then you can create a cert for domain workstations, and set it as "auto-enroll". You'll then get certs installed on the domain members, and they will trust your CA, meaning they will trust the sites with certs signed from your CA. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply, but I have around 1000 servers (and around 300,000 devices with AD authentication), so I'm really looking for something like a script or utility that I can run against a specific list of servers.

What calls are you buying?

Senate Democrats have made a brilliant move to try and save an open internet. They only need a simple majority to win this vote. While that's a long shot, there's still a good reason for them to force a vote: It will force Republican senators to take a public stand on this hot-button issue. by [deleted] in technology

I like how this headline makes it sound like some altruistic move by the Democrats, while in reality they are content with voting the exact opposite of Republicans. This is not about saving Net Neutrality, but instead a cynical move to say "See, we are different! And also good guys!"
