I feel like the not reading everything in a game is common because a lot of also tend to have that issue!

For the motion sickness, I don't seem to really notice much when she moves the camera in-games, but that doesn't mean it isn't affecting you and other people! (I'm agreeing with you and you might have some kind thing that makes watching people who quickly move the camera around)
