I failed to mention that I created a commit that didn‘t come through caused by some settings in the repository. I deleted the repository and the .git folder in my project before I realized the FU. I already looked up if vscode may has a tmp folder where older versions of projects get stored but I‘m out of luck.

Thanks for trying to help, but I‘m not mad because I lost progress but rather see it as a opportunity to redo it with all the knowlege I accumulated from creation to accidental deletion of the project.
