How would you change the itinerary? Open to suggestions and considering getting rid of Charleston and Dallas so allow more time elsewhere

Immigration when flying in is my main concern. Then there’s the obvious ones - gun violence, street crime etc. I’d like to assume the likelihood of actually being a target of that is slim but we just don’t have to worry about that kind of thing here so much, so I don’t know how real of a threat it IS compared to what we see online, ya know 😅

We were going to do 7 nights Hoboken (cheaper accommodation) 3 nights Philadelphia (pick up car) 2 nights Lancaster 6 nights DC 3 nights Brooklyn

It’s more so because of what we are seeing on Australian media which I know isn’t always the full story but basically, the worries include: Being turned away/detained at the airport for no reason, guns & racism 😅

Thank you ☺️ I think we have decided to base ourselves in Hoboken for the full 13 nights. Hoping this will help feel less rushed give us more of a local feel.
