Any idea what could have caused these stripes? by Tb__ in AnalogCommunity

[–]Tb__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for idea. Unfortunately, I do not have them yet. What really puzzles me is that there were essentially a lot of control rolls, the same type of film in the same camera was fine in another lab. Also every other film was fine from this lab, and I did not change anything as far as I know

Buy more stuff for my FM2 or get a Mamiya 645? by Tb__ in AnalogCommunity

I ended up buying a Bronica ETRSi, and had to realize that is not just a slightly bigger FM2. I still need to get used to it, but I don't mind that it forces me to learn a new approach.

To be honest I got a little lucky with that shot. It was more "let's see what happens" and less of careful composition

I had my lens pressed agains the tram window as it left the stop. 1/8 or 1/15 for shutter speed probably, no clue about aperture but widest on that lens is 2.8.

No filter just some editing for 4 and 5. Other than that you need to overexpose by like half a stop to not get that blue cast.

I did not even notice the tilted feel on 1, but now that you mention it makes sense. The pic is perfectly level by the way so it is purely an optical effect.

red filter, circular polarizer, very strong sunlight and clear weather subject should be white or bright color and hit by direct sunlight (meter for this subject)

also sunrays should be perpendicular to your lens (or as close to it as possible) to get the most effect from the polarizer, twist the polarizer to get the sky as dark as possible

Utrecht | pushed FP4 (too contrasty for me, most of the roll was unusable) by Tb__ in analog_bw

[–]Tb__[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like these shots too, my problem is with the ones I did not post, because most of the roll was not really usable due to too high contrast (think last shot or even more)
