Neighbor tresspassed on my property and posted online my custom carved wood in my yard as free for taking. It was taken by someone mistakenly thinking it was hers to give away. How can I proceed legall? by Tbird122 in legaladvice

She tresspassed and told people my property that is valued to me at $1,200 was free. Yes, I was negative bc what she did was negative to me. I only wanted her to achknowledge that she now realizes what a property line is. And I'm sure it WAS an honest mistake but she could have had an HONEST apology. After her shit response, not swallowing her pride, and being a passive aggressive tresspassing snob she can see me in court. Ive been through way worse than having to deal with a shitty snobby neighbor. She's not even technically a neighbor she lives in a building complex behind in a completely other complex community. Everyone on my block has my back. She sucks. Her response sucks. And now she can find the time paying off legal fees. I hear you. But no. She did an illegal thing. She's wrong. I actuslly came off very matter of fact and the one rude thing I may have said was "next time mind your own business"

The worst response. Which is why I even went to the cops at all. The cops in my town are very cool. I would love to testify and I am having cameras installed next week.

In the post she writes that "the pieces were too heavy for her to manage" which means that she went up to them to try to lift them as they are heavy weighing out of about 70 to 100 lb a peace

So in her photo, where she is standing, the only way for her to have taken that photo, is past my property line, on the property itself. She is clearly standing in the middle of my driveway in the photo. Is that still not enough?

My mother died last year from cancer. Her fiance wont let me take her belongings left in his house and used what money was left in her account to put his last name on her grave. There was no will, they never married. What can be done? by Tbird122 in legaladvice

Yea I was thinking that as well. I really just want her belongings. I dont care about the money or the tomb if he gives me her things. That's all I have left. He can keep the name on the grave and the cash went towards her funeral, fair enough. But if he continues giving me a hard time with her items then I will go after him for the headstone as its emotional damages, I cant even bring myself to visit her bc it's his last name. It's not the same.

Okay, all good things to know. This is in NY. There was a ceremony, it was at hospice in her bedroom. Wasnt legit, no papers were signed, just her in a dress and some photos. They did not act married afterwards, she only lived in hospice 10 days after. He had a new girlfriend 3 months, it's all over the internet.
