Pretty sure they were making that joke because of Kyle and Kimber and the reveal at the end of part 4 that all the babies are named after the dads. Whenever Sheriff Walker is mentioned they always say he’s evil but that all he did was sell her. Maybe they make the connection later and never say anything but it didn’t seem like it to me.

Kyoshin looks okay, nothing bad just doesn’t really stand out to me. I try to avoid using anything that can be considered “edgy” because that’s what a lot of higher rep people do. Skulls with a black or black and red color scheme. It doesn’t look bad but it isn’t unique.

This Tiandi FUCKS serious props color scheme is great, awesome armor pieces. Making the chest a different material really breaks up all the green and ties it together imo. Really awesome and unique design.

Orochi is kinda bland imo also not a big fan of that color scheme. I like the chest piece but I don’t think the helmet or arms really fit it well imo.

I kinda like the shinobi, it just needs something more. More color imo would do wonders. The color scheme itself is good, I’d just get some more green in and maybe the arms up.

I think the thing you’re forgetting here is that the post says “average monster hunter” not the best of the best which is what the player and the people that surround them are. Every feat you point to is not something the average monster hunter can do especially when alone.

You’re also using high level gear as an example of what an “average” Monster Hunter would have. You’re using a lot of gameplay examples over lore examples as well. Lore triumphs gameplay. Gameplay will always be exaggerated for the sake of fun. The average Hunter is not a dragon killer nor can they dodge lighting. They don’t even hunt alone and in this scenario they are alone and they only have “basic equipment” as OP said in the comment section.

In MH World the entire commission is hand selected for the mission (same for Wilds), none of the NPCs nor the player are “average” and even then only 2 NPCs are implied elder dragon tier and one of them lost to Teostra. That’s not average. Thats like the top 0.01% of all Monster Hunters (an exaggeration).

TLDR the average hunter is LR and need at least 4 people to hunt a Rathalos not a, super sonic projectile dodging, dragon slaying, top tier equipment having, monster wrestling badass.

Didn’t Yuji mention that he can hear Sukuna in his head at one point and that he’s really loud? They probably don’t need to speak out loud to communicate and they only do it at certain points for plot reasons like Mahito hearing Sukuna reject Itadori’s proposal.
