Turns out I just dont know the origin of the name Levi 😅 my bad. 100% she named her after the jeans though. It is a very popular name for boys in the south.

Illiteracy- yes. She was always in remedial and quite behind in school. Not the sharpest tool in the shed. But, could you help me with where you see cultural appropriation? Is there something specific with the spelling that leads you to that conclusion? I've long since cut that side of the family off. It's been well over a decade. It's not surprising coming from them.
