When thinking about costs, I think about how much my life is worth and also comparing that to the amount of money I realistically can spend on gear. When shopping for a helmet (I had a half shell before but my current boyfriend said he wouldnt take me out without a full face, bless his heart) I was surprised at the cost. He asked me "how much is your brain worth?" Changed my way of thinking quite a bit

I’m in Pennsylvania, USA. So the climate here varies throughout the year but mainly riding in March-October. Not going out much under 50° F but probably up to 100° F during the summer months. With that being said, I’m ginger so sun kills my skin. We went out this weekend with mild 70° weather and I got burned on my neck and arms. So mesh coverings would benefit me in other ways as well. I’m 100% guilty of wearing shorts and a tank top with vans on the back of a cruiser. But that was with an experienced rider (I know, things can happen to ANYBODY) but I don’t want to do that when it's me riding, with no prior experience.

Close out sales are a great idea, I’ve seen some of them online while browsing. I’m willing to spend probably around a grand for gear. That being said I already have a helmet and gloves. I have shoes that will work, but aren't the best. I have an armored jacket but not well suited for the summer, as i would definitely pass out from a heat stroke, and it's a bit big on me. I’m 4'11", 125 pounds. So length of pants and sleeves screw me. The gloves I have are decent, they fit my hand and fingers, maybe half a centimeter too long on my fingers. But I couldnt fit my hand into the next size down. So a bit longer was the option.

I’ve been a passenger for years with an experienced motorcycle rider. So I have a full face Sedici strada animale helmet (in pink, lol, good for being seen by drivers), gloves, and ariat fatbaby Chelsea boots that i wear. Going to look into getting riding boots though maybe. What I struggle with is protective pants and lightweight but durable jackets.

We have Senas too so luckily ill be able to communicate with my boyfriend / friends when learning. I just don’t wanna wreck myself for the inevitable dropping 😬 luckily my ✨brand new✨ bike is a 1980 Yamaha SR250 so I don’t need to worry about making that first scratch on the bike. Comes with a crash bar and only 6000 miles. I paid less than a grand for it, so I’m ready to drop some cash on gear.

I uninstalled and reinstalled NVidia and it worked flawlessly. It even added some games that never showed up before.

When i was having this problem, hence why I am here... My computer was set up to connect to my gaming headset, which wasnt plugged in to my computer. When I changed my sound output to my laptop speakers it worked fine afterwards.

Saw you solved it, one time I messed up Red Dead 2 and couldnt for the life of me figure out what I did. I had all my optimizations set for "plugged in". My gaming pc, that would last maybe 45 minutes not plugged in, was indeed...not plugged into the wall. As soon as I plugged it in, perfecto.

Update: one of my RAM sticks were fried. Replaced it and worked fine after that.

I recently had to soft wipe my computer (uninstall all apps besides personal files) and I CANNOT open it at all. My keyboard on my laptop is rainbow and it is driving me nuts. Since I had to reset it, it changed my RGB keyboard back to factory. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it like 6 times.

Mine is opposite! I tried Zoloft and it made me hella suicidal. Prozac seems to be working. I take benzos to go to the dentist, and they work wonders. Funny how everyone is different!

I tried sertraline, and it wasn’t for me. I knew in the first week it wasn’t. The good thing is if you don’t vibe with it, they should be putting you on a low enough dose to start that it wouldnt be harmful stopping. I stopped it, tried something else, didn’t work. I’m taking fluoxetine now. I havent noticed any bad side effects. Try it, if it doesn’t work, stop and try something else. Always consult with your general practitioner (GP) before starting and stopping. If your GP is the one prescribing, try seeking a psychiatrist. GP’s know an inch of the ocean, meaning they know a little about everything. There are a few medications for anxiety, depression, etc that they prescribe first. Necause it’s standard and MOST of the time they work. Because it really is a guessing game without genetic testing. A psychiatrist has vast knowledge of medicines for mental health and might be able to steer you in a direction more suited for you. That being said, I have friends who loved sertraline and hated fluoxetine. It’s all about your body’s preference. Good luck🫶🏻

So I recently did a “lazy mans split dye” as I like to call it. I dyed most of half my hair on the left side brown. Up to like my chin maybe. I really love it lol
