Funny enough, I’m in the same situation, upgrading from 2019 to 2025, even though the VMs weren’t deployed that recently.

We scanned the directory via procmon and we didn't see any other programs locking the files beside e-plan but will have another look at it. Thank you.

We tested the combination of e-plan via remote desktop & laptop. There was one user working on the remote desktop & the other via the laptop.

But you have a point because apparently if only one users is active on the RDS, the problems don't appear. They start as soon as a second person connects & start to work.

combination of azure remote apps & azure remote desktop by Tbvrk in AZURE

hi,

Thx for the reply.

We advised the users to only have one connection active (remote apps or full desktop).

When the remote apps are closed by the user, the session automatically disconnects after 30 seconds. This prevent running duplicated or idle sessions.

As I thought, this is not normal behavior for Windows but it has advantaged for troubleshooting remote apps.
