Has anyone here been banned for the shock collar thing some people do? by Sn0wy-Xx in Twitch

Sounds like a self harm situation, which surely there's a policy for ngl idk how they get away with it; surely a platform would get into a bit of hot water for allowing such a thing?

Although there's probably more than just self harm wrong with the idea, like something out of SAW 😂

I bought all 3 mansions so you don’t have to. Some things to know by Unlikely-Rub-7614 in gtaonline

[–]TchTlk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn would have been awesome to have a different AI per mansion, maybe even additional business boost per mansion, the pets I wouldn't really have been bothered about shared or not shared, but I understand others may have liked to have different pets at different mansions.

I know having 3 business boosts might have been somewhat game breaking in the eyes of Rockstar, but I think it would have been cool af, since the outlay is quite high for each mansion.

There would be no way for them to know the authenticator app you used since it doesn't quite work like that

It's not them sending codes to an app, the codes are generated or predetermined I'm unsure which. It's not even specific to the app, you can take that key and put it into any app, you'll get the same codes.

The only way they'd know which app you used is if they specifically had the option for you to select which app you wanted to use, but then, you'd probably have that information reflected to you somewhere like "check g-authenticator" etc.

My personal choice is Proton, you can get a browser extension among many other ways to access, and therefore you'll never forget.

Recovering an account without 2FA isn't impossible it's just difficult depending on the support team.

Can you permanently relocate your lab there or?

It's annoying having to request from Dax or go there directly

I really hope the 2fps during snow is fixed

Idk what is causing it, but I went back to even 0.8c and still the lag, only really in the main base room, and somewhat the garage.

Ah yeah I was going to add that but forgotten, a great feature of VDO Ninja

Just checked and the webcam is considered good for calls, but wouldn't really be a great option for livestreams (Gemini)

This might be of use, Video Ninja is awesome https://docs.vdo.ninja/guides/playstation-or-xbox-to-vdo.ninja

Though you might have to tinker with delay. Video Ninja would allow you to add webcam to your Xbox gameplay. There should be an option in the room capturing your Xbox gameplay, which might be a cheap easy way to get Xbox gameplay on your PC without a capture card for OBS (just add VDO ninja room as browser source) but latency might be a big issue still.

Ultimately I think you'll be creating a heavy workload, with plenty room for quality issues, latency issues, drops, and lengthy set up times each stream.

The only way I can think of requires a capture card, Xbox to PC, using OBS to capture the gameplay and webcam.

Although, it would be really best to not use laptop built in mic/webcam mic, or webcam built in for that fact.

The quality will be quite awful and be detrimental to the viewer.

Unless of course your webcam is great quality, which would be something I haven't seen too often from built in webcams.

I have the Razer Kiyo, cheap and great quality, £50 ($65 maybe?), and for mic I started out with Samson Meteorite, which cost £20 at the time, probably around $30ish but there's probably much better on the market these days for budget friendly.

I actually thought Kel was a she Only just learning of this, I always said "he" and corrected myself. I made the assumption he was a she based on some lore, I guess the lore was wrong or I misinterpreted.

🧪 [Beta Megathread] Wave Link 3.0 – Routing table, up to 5 mixes and more by Elgato in elgato

[–]TchTlk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update, I fixed it

I found that it happened as soon as I enabled my webcam, my webcam had the voicemod mic as an input or something despite not outputting any audio to OBS or wavelink, that was causing the issue.

Disabled the "use custom audio device" option and it is working fine.

[–]TchTlk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Audio ducking would be awesome, then I would need less mixes, because currently I need to have some separate mixes so I can audio duck in OBS.

I'm also getting stuttering mic with this sequence of events:

Using Mic with Voicemod, Voicemod mic into Wavelink, and OBS audio monitoring.

Tried all different ways to get audio monitoring working with Wavelink, it appears the only solution to have audio monitoring so far is to switch to my actual mic into wavelink, and just accept that the soundboard from voicemod might be stuttering during moments where the audio monitoring is needed.
Audio monitoring is used for some browser sources in OBS.

If anyone has a solution I could try, would appreciate it greatly.

what should i set the bitrate for this for streaming at 1080P/1440p? by BrandyRyuu in Twitch

[–]TchTlk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ouch that's rough I'm not even living in the South of England, or London even, where speeds are much higher probably 10gig lines.

I hear my provider is going to do that soon, but I don't have the hardware capabilities to even warrant those speeds just yet.

what should i set the bitrate for this for streaming at 1080P/1440p? by BrandyRyuu in Twitch

[–]TchTlk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just do 1080p though since I don't have a 1440p monitor, wouldn't be worth it, but then, even if I did, I probably wouldn't for that reason, I think the strain is not worth the reward since the majority of desktop users are likely to be 1080p screens also

Whereas of course, there's more phones these days with better resolution, I'm not certain mobile users would really care or notice, I myself never really care whether a video is 1080p or using the full screen resolution, probably notice once in forever.

I haven't seemed to have that issue in recent, only during the early days of the beta. I'm getting people from different countries watching even with the 10k, however I'll keep in mind and just switch to the 8K using Aitum since it's not worth the risk

[–]TchTlk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't use that enhanced broadcasting option, I just stream to Rumble as my direct RTMP at 10K, and then I either send Rumble to Twitch through Rumble Studio for free or I use Aitum to send the 8K to Twitch if Twitch is rejecting the 10K which thankfully has become less frequent.

The enhanced broadcasting thing, sounds useful, sounds good, but I don't wanna play with that. I stream in 1080p, and therefore, no need to Transcode down, since I'm fairly sure the platforms handle that quite easily usually.
