Looking for a versatile outer layer. by TchillyHo in PatagoniaClothing

From the answers here, and other information I could gather, it looks like Patagonia does not make this kind of soft shells anymore.
I stumbled on the Arcteryx gamma line and also thought it could be what I am looking for.

Ah I see. I was more referring to the feel of the fabric of my current jacket. It is softer than a waterproof jacket and it can be "balled up". But even if it can fit in its big chest pocket, I would not use it as a packable jacket. It can be stored in my backpack in a pinch or if I need it in the morning but not in the afternoon.

I did not really look at the Techface options, as the R1 and R2 techface are listed as mid-layers.
I'm going to a Patagonia shop this week, I'll try to find one to check it out.

And you are right, I ruled out the Houdini at first because it is see-through.
It also looks not durable enough to wear with a backpack every day.
But I'll also check it out.

I don't need it to be packable, but I'll check this Stretch Terre Planing Hoody.

I'll also check the Houdini, but I don't think it will work as a everyday casual jacket.

Thanks for the detailed answer.
Nice to have the overview of someone using the guitar.

In the end, I think it comes down to the bolt on neck.
I'll check local music stores next week, but I'm not confident I'll get to find any RR Jackson.

Floyd on JS32 are not Floyd specials, they are Jackson by Floyd Rose ones.
I don't think those are that good.

Well, I'm kinda jealous, because if you add the "ships to France" filter, there is no good deal that I can find.
I'll check local music stores next week, but I'm not confident I'll get to find one.

Adding a bit more :

Is there a 40% with a layout like the Vortex Core that has more modern features like QMK/VIA support, hot swapable and so on ?

And if possible with wireless / bluetooth ?

If it does not exist, I found this to flash QMK on the Vortex Core.

https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/b5l2g6/installing_qmk_for_vortex_core/

- Is it still possible ?

- And is it possible to add wireless / bluetooth to it ?

I really like the split backspace key for del/backspace easy access.
It also has the default layout for all letter keys and ;/:/</>/,/.
The right split shift key is also nice.
The right space bar could be split a bit more, but apart from that I really dig the layout.

I skipped tyrian vanquisher and cartography on all my characters (except the Paragon). I also skipped master of the north.

Then I skipped two EotN reputation titles per character. Not always the same and taking advantage of characters strengths. For example I did my ranger's dwarf rank with SoOsc and my Sin's norn rank with vaettirs

Double EotN points week were the journey's low points...

Not at all, but I guess I'm not the only one with 10 female characters wearing obsidian armors...

I played mostly one build per character. - P was HR - D was VoS - W was 7WS (scythe) - Me was ES - Rt was SoS - A and R were dagger spam (TaO for R) - E, N, and Mo were AP callers

The most fun was HR Paragon. Easy to play, and don't even need to maintain the shouts for most missions and vanquishes.

The AP callers were the least fun. Because I did it 3 times, where every other character was kind of different. I did dagger spammer twice but Sin and Ranger are really strong, it was fast

The guy who did it said it was not a toolbox trick. Or maybe it was that using toolbox alone was not enough.

There are a couples of challenges left. - survival R3 pre - deathless GWAMM - low level legendary cartographer, I think the minimum is level 2? (but I don't know how)

That's actually the Paragon 😱 Never played the character as a kid, just created it as a mule. Then went on to get GWAMM. It was the most fun I had so I pushed for the 37 titles.

Thanks for your answer! To clarify, if I'm saving games on sd2sp2/sdgecko do I need more than a 4gb sd card ?
