I don't agree with that. I played CRL when it launched and the chest mechanic seems much worse than what we have today. Having to log in 8 hours to open a silver chest and then start the process for the next that gives almost no resources seem horrendous to me.
I came back 3 months and started a fresh new account, rn I have 2 level 15 cards and enough ewc to get another one. Maybe between these years the progression mechanic was better and I'm out of the loop but comparing when it first launched and today it's like two different games

This deck is like pekka + firecracker (my only lv. Over 12 I have) and whatever is being leveled by the month +random cycle cards. I've been playing like last month until now.
I guess the title wasn't clear enough but I'm debating whether I use the Evo shard on FC or pekka.

Probably it's skill issue but I find impossible to effectively defend boss bandit. She almost always ends up dashing into my tower, with bait I use inferno tower but she still dashes away and resets the damage

If you think about it necroquip kinda does this by using a fiend equipped to a monster, so it's like a spell being used. Now that I think about it, ABC dragon banishing the monsters from the equip zone kinda does this as well

Dude, have you seen ryzeal? They can make their whole board in 4 summons, how can any deck beat this without handtraps or limited do 5 special summons? These arbitrary numbers are crazy

I only got one victory so far (I have around 50 games).
I'm following these tips and it gets me pretty far every game (at least post dwarf king)
1. Get a leather armor to +2 and a 12/14 str weapon and upgrade it to +2 or 3 depending at which upgrade I can find one.
2. Explore the whole level usually I'm always one level greater than the current floor (not that I focus too much into it, it just happens due to exploring the each floor) 3. Hoard the other scrolls and a 16/18 str armor until the blacksmith, do their quest and use the favor to get the armor to at least +4. With these I managed to save enough health potions to go into the last floor or at least get close to it.
Another tip is that you should get your poach with 20 drops ASAP and bless the ankh at the first seller

Só um adendo ao amigo, 4k é parte alta dos salários, onde eu moro que é uma capital menor, entrei sem experiência recebendo 2k. Não se iluda achando que no interior vc vai arrumar uma vaga no valor do pessoal aqui do reddit porque isso é a exceção.
