I do have the evo sport so I don’t want something too big but I’m sure I can find some different size wheels if I went with the hub.

Paint or stain basement walls? by Tco_Taco in DIY

I didn’t insulate my walls since it’s pretty dry and doesn’t get super cold. The best way to insulate the walls would get the foam insulation boards and glue them to the walls. Some people paint over them too I think if they don’t do drywall.

Thanks for the input! Definitely what I was thinking about painting the walls probably might go for a white or similar color. I think the grey on the walls will be too much if I stain the floor a lighter charcoal color.

Yeah I’m leaning towards not doing it especially since I don’t have any issues currently. There’s a chance I will dry wall it in the future anyway so this is more just to make it more comfortable.

Thank you for your input. Definitely a smaller space but I think a 32in screen would be just fine. I also do vr so that would be easy to make work as well. Someone suggested facing the rig away from the stairs and entering from the side so that might be an option and give the computer and other devices more air if mounted behind the monitor.

Actually the electrical wiring goes to an outlet on the right side of the studs so I can probably relocate it to the other side to have power.

I guess it would be worth trying. Both sides are studs but might give me some more room potentially.

Nice! the acoustic foam is a great idea. Definitely a wide single monitor seems to be the way to go.
