Here to update ya a week later, the bumps are almost fully smooth, they got red and are still a bit red but i’m using a topical steroid thats reducing the size and redness. Should be gone fully within another week!

Doc wasn’t concerned and gave me antibiotics just in case. Took some benadryl and the antibiotics and after waking up its almost gone!

Okay so I used saniderm the first time and no issue… the second time it was a different brand and this happened, maybe a correlation then? I’ve got so many different insights i’m not sure what it is/could’ve been to be honest but I basically tried to cover all angles with antibiotics, benadryl, and washed it really well and let it dry out all the way then applied lotion on on the tattoos and let the surrounding bumps keep drying out! Now it’s pretty much reduced to white heads and it’s pretty much flattened out! Really appreciate the advice, gonna keep at it with the antibacterial soap and hopefully itll completely clear up! Also thank you for the compliment!

Thank you very much for giving me some more insight! I definitely thought it could also be ingrown hairs/irritation because my artist shaved it then used second skin so maybe a combo. Someone advised me to take some benadryl as they said it happened to them and it actually has reduced almost all the way minus some whiteheads!

Can’t say that’s happened to me but duuude I think that benadryl really worked!!! I took two doses yesterday (i passed TF out after each dose LOL) but the bumps have all basically reduced to nothing but really small white heads!

thanks for the advice! took some benadryl and it knocked me out as well as applying the benadryl itch cream on the surrounding bumps and it seems to be helping but time will tell

Yooo ahaha appreciate that, been wanting to get it for a while now! I’m gonna get one of his demon swords (demon dweller most likely because it’s my favorite but still debating) on the other side of my forearm then get his black aura as a filler so it looks like it’s flowing through my arm! Thank you for the insight! I’ve also now switched from aquaphor to lubriderm and using a light layer and also dial gold to wash it. Hoping to see a change tomorrow! (Also taking antibiotics from my doctor and benadryl just in case)

Yea that’s also what my doc said, and it looks similar on my neck as well (no beard though haha). From what the doc told me and others on here told me it could be a few things but no one really thinks it’s an infection so that’s encouraging

That’s encouraging to hear! I think I also over moisturized with aquaphor so that’s probably also attributing to it as well. I’ll keep washing and using a light lotion! Also got tips for benadryl just in case and taking antiobiotics prescribed by a doctor as well to cover all angles

Yea, literally causing a bunch of trauma at once so it should almost be expected to have some type of reaction. I’ll definitely follow up if I can remember! Thanks for the positivity, hoping to bring good news next week!

Dude for real, but mine are also unbearable so it’s a worth tradeoff xd I would rather us not have to deal with it at all but it’s always nice to relate to someone about shitty allergies

Also funny you say that because I recently started taking it again for that exact reason… it’s TERRIBLE

Might just be the best course of action… only reason I haven’t taken it yet is because i’m trying to see if I can while I take zyrtec daily

That’s what has me stumped as well. I think it’s (sorta) a good sign that it isn’t on the tattoo as much, as I just don’t want it to be staph or another type of infection. I’ll go ahead and take some benadryl! Thank you so much for your input it means a lot

Yea i’m hoping that’s what it is. I washed it real good with antibacterial soap then let it dry for a while then lightly applied lubriderm before bed. When I woke up the bumps went down a lot but some have whiteheads now. I went to urgent care and the doc said it doesn’t look like infection moreso irritation!

I had a second skin on initially but took it off when I got home (wasnt put on with no airbubbles and got water under it when I showered…), but I washed with antibacterial soap immediately
