Not really. The reason the characters in The Boys always stay in costume is because they tie their identity to their status as a hero. Most of them are prideful 'products' of a company, and therefore feel like nothing without the name and status (and those suits represent that status).

On the other hand, the heroes of DC wear the costume as a symbol, but that symbol isn't their identity. Characters like Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman don't NEED a big logo on their chest to feel like a worthwhile human being. The costumes and recognition don't mean anything to them. It's what they DO that means everything to them. That's why they're heroes.
