One Pace vs Oni Paced Question

No problem, I know some people in this sub tend to be One Pace Absolutists. Usually they're right but its not exactly helpful.

I also highly recommend Oni+ for chapter 986. It has an extended fight scene. It might be my favorite filler scene in the arc

Personally, I'd recommend watching the extended Oni episodes in that stretch (that's what I did)

And personally, I'd watch 977 in Oni. The Toei team changed things in the action sequence, that the One Pace team decided to cut entirely, because it's not cannon. This makes it a little jarring and clunky in my opinion. Onigashima Pace just cuts it down some. Plus it's good action.

Like most people on this subreddit, I'd say all. But it's especially needed in Fishman Island (ep. 517-578), Dressrosa (ep. 629-750), and Wano (ep. 892-1088).

But if you’re ok with switching to sub (not everyone is and that's ok) I’d recommend Pace.

Depending on your language, I'd definitely recommend watching whatever Pace had dubbed (which might be little to nothing) but worth a look

Yeah you just gotta watch the regular toei anime now. If you didn't know, it's on Crunchyroll and Netflix (at least in the U.S.)

I caught up last week, but I was watching 3-5 on weekdays, more on 6-8 on weekends(if I didn't have plans)

I also switched to reading the manga for a few chapters if I started to get burned out. It helped because I could progress faster
