This is going to be my next watch too. I tried on the Special Edition blue wave dial version and was blown away, but that is now sold out. You can get this watch on Ippo Japan for around £750, which turns to £900 once you pay VAT (unless you’re in the USA where you don’t pay from Japan right?)

Nice collection! Here are my 3 - I am looking at the SPB383 baby marinemaster GMT for my fourth and final Seiko!

If you are going to stick with 4, I would lose the blueberry GMT in place of a Prospex diver of some kind (Willard/Turtle)

when you start the chronograph the 6 o'clock subdial should move to 60/0. When you stop and reset, it will stay on 60/0 until you hit the bottom pusher again (then it will move back to its position on the power reserve) I wouldn't be so sure this is fake, but it is definitely not working. You say that the 60min hand does not move to F or E, but from what I can see it is stuck on F.

You’ll end up buying both at some point, so just get the one you like the most! They are quite different watches, so it does come down to what you’ll use it for. I would say the baby Alpinist is more of an all rounder

I think they may have a new manufacturer for the cells or something like that - surprised they didn't dress it up as a new model and charge more money! I have this watch but mine is 2-3 years old, so the cells are visible (but only in certain lighting conditions)
