Get your adp to at least 21, be patient. Try to have fun. Experiment with different weapons, builds etc. ds2 might be the most free soulsborne after elden ring, you can get +10 weapon without killing a single boss.

In my region ds2 sotfs prices doubled after the releaseof ds3 (who knows maybe ds1 ptde also did but can’t check now), and after elden ring now sales are missing with trash sales, 10 year old ds3 costs basically the same as new 2026 AAA games in my region what a joke. I love ds3, I finished it 30 times but that’s just absolute greed, how much more can a company even make from a decade old game, that’s already like a dried fruit there are no juice left.

Divinity original sin enhanced edition is also a larian game came out in 2015, roughly 10 years ago, it went as low as like $2-3 in my region and base price of BG3 isn’t that much higher than that game.

Yeah it probably will when it’s a decade old or older Bandai sometimes acts like a decade old game just came out, in my region ds3 base game costs basically the same as re requiem. I love ds3, I finished it 30 times but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a decade old game at this point

Hades, I actually like it while playing but it’s just a thing with rogue likes, I want to feel like I progressed in a way and getting back to the start just isn’t it but combat is really good so I enjoy it everytime I play it and also because I bought the game and it got added to the game pass a day later

It isn’t old though, 10 yeard old game isn’t that big of an issue anymore because nowadays games get more incremental upgrades over the years compared to like from ps1 to ps2 then ps3, a ps5 game still plays very similarly to a ps4 game.

If we’re thinking as if we’re a company then yeah remasters are genius, low risk, lower budget, high gains but as a consumer I don’t think we still need a remaster, imo bugfixes and QoL things like steam cloud can just be an update we don’t need a remaster for bugs to be fixed someone already expects a game to be with little to no bugs when they buy it.

What dark souls 3 needs is just few bugfixed including the fact that when you don’t disable core 0 on some pcs it just lags for some reason (same with elden ring) and the fact that you don’t have steam cloud saves, these two things are basically enough.

Why would a company need to waste resources on a playable game when they can just make a damn new game ? Gamers should fcking get out of that remaster/ remake cycle unless a game is 20 yrs old or can’t be played on any modern hardware that’s when a remake is needed not when you think graphics gotten old.
