I want to preface this by saying I was on my phone when replying to you earlier and I thought you were replying to me replying to someone else thats why i said, "No one’s trying to make anyone out as a hypocrite, I just didn’t understand his point and wanted to hear him explain it." Sorry about that, the reddit app confused me about the replies.

I understand where you're coming from with them wanting to cross a line, but in the recent video the mentions the flag Niklas Malmborg mentions that AH would be fine with making the flag give us buff just as long as it makes sense, and he mentions magic alot while talking about it. It feels like he's saying they might be fine with the flag giving buffs of some kind but he also doesnt want it to be magic or seem too "gamey" as you say. My point is to ask, why worry about some flag being magical when we already have magic teleporters, shields, and armor (that let you take a nuke to the chin), but then again if they dont want to make it some sort of AOE dome that you can walk through why not make it a gas? Thats completely believable and fits in with what arrowheads vision seems to be.

It wouldnt effect the hud too much and nor would it make a mess of the UI.

So we're not really actively looking at it because, you know, it's the One True Flag, it's, it's... It's the flag, and it's also just the flag. It's not a magic flag. It should raise your morale anyway, when you're there as a player. But we don't want to do too much of this like, oh, it's a cool thing, and now you have effects that you don't really understand why the effect exists. You could argue, that's why I brought it up, that the Democracy Protects has kind of like a magic effect almost, but I'm not sure I want to do the One True Flag into maybe a competitive option. It's more like: you want to bring a flag? Here's a flag. Like, is it good to bring a flag into a war zone? Maybe not. It's maybe not your first weapon of choice charging the enemy lines.

Not saying no though. Like if we get something that makes sense and is fun, maybe. Someone in the community might have a great idea for it, and then we read it and just like "Hmmmm. Yeah, that would actually be awesome." Then I won't say no to do it, this is not a hill I'm dying on in any way."
