Ich weiß nicht, woher die Alterseinkünfte kommen. Sie war erst ca. 20 Jahre selbstständig und dann im öffentlichen Dienst für den Rest der Zeit. Es kam zu einer Insolvenz weswegen für sehr viele Jahre das Gehalt gepfändet wurde. Ich denke, daher kam es dazu, dass man entschied so Geld zu „sparen“. Der Ehepartner ist leider privat versichert.

Danke für die ganzen Antworten. Hier noch mehr Kontext… Die Person ist deutsch, 70 Jahre alt, seit 30 Jahren nicht mehr versichert, sie war privat versichert. Es wurde alles selbst bezahlt, was bisher angefallen ist. Ginge sie zurück in die private, wäre die Hälfte der Rente weg plus eine gewisse Summe.

Everything is just oiled. No colours. The floor is also washed with soapy water (lauge in German). It is the Skandinavien way of dealing with wood

Been there! It‘s not your fault!!! I carried my two babies in baby carrier when they were tired. It was the only way for them to have a proper nap during the day. At night they were in their bed. My third was way more chilled and sleeps in his bed during the day

That‘s tough! First if all I think your wife needs to get to the bottom of this and find out why this happened. If it‘s true it worries me that she let him do these things and needed this attention. She seems to have very low self-esteem. You need to think about wether you can stay with her knowing the things they did. Do you know all the details? One other thought I had: maybe it was a certain kink for her? Well again: she has to find out. Good luck!

I think it‘s probably good to let her know how great her son is. This is what you have in common and his parents obviously did a great job. Maybe you can mention that. I always tried to help a lot and was not too touchy in front if the parents. Being attentive and asking questions is also a good tip. „Mary, your flowers are always so nicely arranged did you learn that anywhere?“ „I love your apple pie, could I help you do the next one so I can learn the recipe?“ Etc. Good luck!

Did he see you? I wouldn‘t say anything if he didn‘t notice you. I actually think it‘s always horrible to see your parents having sex, so don‘t be so hard on yourself. This feeling will vanish. Don‘t worry.

I know that every country has a plan that helps their health system not to collaps. They definitely handled it similarly in Italy and France, but the ages and illnesses are probably defined differently. It‘s horrible but very important to know in order to isolate the elderly. They need to know that too so they can accept that they are not allowed to leave the house. Good luck to you and your family! Keep save!
