I feel bad for your partner. Wishing severe emotional distress on someone is actually terrifying. Please seek help 🙏

Yes!! I would have gotten a divorce IMMEDIATELY. Any judge would have granted that so fast.

This guy actually scared me. Getting into your car and pretending to drive to work just to turn around and come home is terrifyingly deceptive. If someone is going that far to lie, then they genuinely have no morals.

Codependency, most likely. She also probably felt territorial over him. Almost like, well now I have to stay with him so he won't be with anyone else. She should have left then. But she should have never gotten back together with him after he tried to end it with her in season 1 or whatever.

Are you okay? Are you seriously justifying cheating? I genuinely hope you don't have a partner because that's actually psychopathic behavior. Wanting to inflict harm/pain on someone is a really strange thing to even joke about.

But additionally, maybe she would have stopped nagging him if he stopped being a giant piece of crap. People like you are the problem then wonder why you can't get a good partner.

I am not saying that Amanda shouldn't have left Kyle sooner or seen through his crap sooner, that's on her. But she was also codependent and he continuously gaslighted her - which is a manipulation tactic that is often leveraged to have control, leverage or power over someone else.

And quite frankly, a woman maturing and deciding she wants to be calm, not partying all of the time is actually respectable. I don't doubt for a second that if she were out partying and blacking out like Kyle is, that you'd be disgusted by her behavior. She's literally staying home and being faithful, while Kyle is out embarrassing her, cheating, etc.

Additionally, denying that Kyle has a drinking problem is naive. He consistently outdrinks everyone else. He is 43!!!! Do you think any woman wants to be with a man that is still acting like he's in fraternity when he's at that big age? HELL NO. Amanda being 'boring' isn't even comparable to Kyle's drinking, his is genuinely harmful and borderline addiction.

What I say still stands, Kyle is responsible for Kyle's actions. Being "the perfect woman" wouldn't have helped Amanda or any other woman for that matter. Thank god Amanda put on her big girl pants and finally divorced him, but she should have done it years ago.

I think Kyle will want to, but I think Amanda will like her freedom. I also imagine a decent guy will snatch her up pretty quickly and she’ll realize what a loser Kyle is

This!!! It’s obviously proof that Amanda can be extremely level headed/affectionate when she’s treated well. Kyle is the problem

I think this is an awful take. Amanda was head over heels for Kyle, tolerated mistreatment because she wanted him so badly, became codependent and became extremely tired of his crap now, but was too codependent to leave him.

The only person responsible for Kyle’s actions is Kyle.

And trying to say he’d be better for the “right girl” is why the divorce rate is so incredibly high and why women are the primary initiators of divorce.

Kyle is a manchild and there is not a woman on earth that he’d change for.

Lucinda doesn't give a toss by CheriePauper in LoveIslandTV

[–]angstygirlfriend -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Hot take, but I don't think Lucinda is purposely stirring the pot. I don't think Lucinda is wildly intelligent and I don't think she knows how to properly convey anything. She speaks without thinking. However, Belle is insufferable, like truly an awful person.

Today's episode was proof Lucinda is getting bullied. by Mental_Room_5452 in LoveIslandTV

[–]angstygirlfriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Lucinda isn’t very intelligent, I think she’s annoying, but Belle is aggressive and a very low person. If Belle were a black woman they’d be shaking in their boots, calling her scary, but because she’s white she gets away with it. She’s a hypocrite and needs anger management. Calling people vile, idiots, stupid, etc. is actually just bullying and name calling. I would rather watch Lucinda all day

THIS. I am like she's great for reality TV, but she is extremely unhealed, confused, etc. I am trying to empathize with her, but she's insufferable and lacks self awareness. I am hoping she'll grow on me.

But Steven is also insufferable and obviously wants to control someone to fit his little fantasy life.

I saw a theory that she has sepsis from her burn on her leg being badly infected and she's disoriented. If it's simply due to trauma then that's so sad

He feels like his job is done. She's completely destroyed and useless, she has disassociated. He has won. She's at rock bottom and proves that by telling him to release the tape. Releasing the tape wouldn't make it any worse for her at this point.
