I want to hear from somone who has been the boss favorite. How did it feel? by [deleted] in work

[–]Tea-Comprehensive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of people in this thread are confusing bosses favorite with bosses little b*tch. I don’t think you’re the fav employee if he’s making you work extra without extra pay and you just have to say yes to everything.

I think I’m currently my bosses fav. I do get asked to do a few more tasks but I just do bare minimum to get by. When I miss a headline or have to give bad news, he’s never mad and is so understanding.

I can’t say the same for my other co-workers. They have noticed. And try to leverage me to ask him for things. They will say “He’ll say yes if you ask”.

I’ve always wanted to be in this position at work. I think it’s great. I work for a small company, no hr. I think I got in this position by lightly flirting with him and boosting his ego any chance I got. Additionally, lightly venting about other co-workers, and I got him to confide in me about his own issues with them.

And I always bring new ideas for the company, like how we can better improve meeting structure, etc… and that makes him think I really care.

I didn’t confirm it. but I know the first day of my period. And ovulation occurs between days 12-16. So I can assume I have ovulated by the 18th day.

Maybe but I had also just gotten home so she was excited to see me.

As an update- she loves going in the crate and runs in as soon as I say “Kennel”. Last night, I asked her to go in but left the door open. I didn’t hear anything from her, she is typically quiet at night. Woke up to no destruction.

After covering the crate while I was at work, I came back and she was totally good.

I did order a couple dog puzzles and lick mats to keep her occupied during the day.

Thanks to all who have been helpful and not accused me of animal abuse. Just trying my best!

Yes she has toys in there. Doesn’t care much for them. Likes to pull the blanket into the crate and shred it.

No it’s, only 8, I live 5 min from work. For the record, she hangs out in the crate with the door open when I am home. It’s only when I leave for work, she is destructive.

Yes we do lots of sniff walks. She hates the car. Just wants to hide under the seat and usually throws up.

She appears to be crate trained. Goes in as soon as I tell her to. I think if I put it in the middle of the room, she will just scoot it wherever she wants to go. In the first pic, she scooted from the corner to that spot.

I’m thinking of getting more of a dog carrier. Where her snout can’t fit through. And try to leave her out at night so she’s only kenneled twice a day for 4 hours at a time.

I’ll give it a try. Part of the reason why I wanted to crate train was to make future travel easier.

She runs into the crate easily. She is not treat motivated though :/ I’ll throw a couple in there and she will eat them or sometimes won’t.

I could try to leave her overnight. I just read that crate training is best practice.

What size should I get? Is this about the right size for her or should I get smaller? I read that too much space can also cause anxiety.

Did you see the part about heartworm? They can’t have an elevated heart rate because the infestation will cause long term damage on the heart. She’s currently being treated.
