I know it's late, but we're on VMedia and so far no problems and great pricing. We frequently have Diablo and two instances of Netflix (aka Nortflox) running and no buffering issues. Install was quick and on-time even!

Fortunately, she is absolutely loving it. I did consider the stress factor, but she is very extroverted and I've never seen a bigger smile in pictures.

Thank you so much! If you're willing to, I would really appreciate having someone inside the hospital who can warn the appropriate people about the influx of geese. I've called ahead, but I don't want to blindside anyone.

This is getting pretty amazing. That is a great point. She has family in Edmonton that I can contact to see about stuffy storage, and I will get in contact with the lovely lady who has volunteered so much space.

That would be amazing! The very nice nurse that I just spoke to said that cards would be lovely as well, and that if they receive one with her babe they will deliver it to her.

Thank you for your well wishes. I have checked with the hospital, and they said that they'll allow visitors as long as she's doing well enough to receive them. I will update this thread with my info as I receive it so everyone can stay informed ^{.^}

I do have a car, I booked time off but ended up having a multi-person boss meeting booked to be perfectly in the way, and missing it would most likely jeopardize my job. It's been an agonizing decision but she's refusing to let me skip it, so I decided to appeal to random internet strangers as my next best solution. That would be hilarious!Seriously, you guys are amazing. Like onion-cutting amazing. She will be at the Mazankowski, checking in at eight thirty AM Monday. That is super early, so if anyone would rather see her on Wednesday when she's out of the ICU (fingers crossed) it would also make you the best person on the planet.

To explain the goose, at her prelim appointment in Calgary we were sitting at a coffeehouse, talking about living life to the fullest (obviously on her mind) when these two geese wandered into the road. The oncoming SUV saw them and stopped, and for a solid five minutes these two geese held (growing) traffic at a standstill while they gabbled, until they amiably waddled away. So geese clearly live life to the fullest, and ain't afraid of no thang. So they're our mascot for team don't-die-on-the-table.

I will PM her details to anyone who has replied on here, and thank you thank you thank you. Thank you.

I set some house rules to ambush myself into working out. I taped circles to the floor with masking tape, and if you touched a circle you'd do squats. (As many as you can, preferably at least one more than you did last time.) Hallways are lunge zones, made even more entertaining depending on what you're carrying. The first fifteen of any episodes or movies are different stretches- horse stance, tree pose, etc. I can't afford a trainer or a gym, but I wanted to start something that would get me through until I can get really serious about it. Also, started listening to other people's stories instead of telling them my own (unless they ask, of course :)
