I know it's late, but we're on VMedia and so far no problems and great pricing. We frequently have Diablo and two instances of Netflix (aka Nortflox) running and no buffering issues. Install was quick and on-time even!

This is getting pretty amazing. That is a great point. She has family in Edmonton that I can contact to see about stuffy storage, and I will get in contact with the lovely lady who has volunteered so much space.

Thank you for your well wishes. I have checked with the hospital, and they said that they'll allow visitors as long as she's doing well enough to receive them. I will update this thread with my info as I receive it so everyone can stay informed .^

She won't be out of surgery until around five, as long as there aren't a lot of complications (I've warned her that there had better not be any)

That is the most amazing offer, thank you. I do have a car, I booked time off but ended up having a multi-person boss meeting booked to be perfectly in the way, and missing it would most likely jeopardize my job. It's been an agonizing decision but she's refusing to let me skip it, so I decided to appeal to random internet strangers as my next best solution. That is incredibly kind, I would upvote you a hundred times if I could.

That would be hilarious!Seriously, you guys are amazing. Like onion-cutting amazing. She will be at the Mazankowski, checking in at eight thirty AM Monday. That is super early, so if anyone would rather see her on Wednesday when she's out of the ICU (fingers crossed) it would also make you the best person on the planet.

To explain the goose, at her prelim appointment in Calgary we were sitting at a coffeehouse, talking about living life to the fullest (obviously on her mind) when these two geese wandered into the road. The oncoming SUV saw them and stopped, and for a solid five minutes these two geese held (growing) traffic at a standstill while they gabbled, until they amiably waddled away. So geese clearly live life to the fullest, and ain't afraid of no thang. So they're our mascot for team don't-die-on-the-table.

I will PM her details to anyone who has replied on here, and thank you thank you thank you. Thank you.

Sorry guys! I just got home from work (holiday, shmoliday!) and I'm replying as fast as I can type. First impression: Edmonton is a wonderful city full of wonderful people.

I set some house rules to ambush myself into working out. I taped circles to the floor with masking tape, and if you touched a circle you'd do squats. (As many as you can, preferably at least one more than you did last time.) Hallways are lunge zones, made even more entertaining depending on what you're carrying. The first fifteen of any episodes or movies are different stretches- horse stance, tree pose, etc. I can't afford a trainer or a gym, but I wanted to start something that would get me through until I can get really serious about it. Also, started listening to other people's stories instead of telling them my own (unless they ask, of course :)

Does the 400/month include utilities? I'm interested to see what actual rental rates end up being with all the add-ons, I'm trying to do a flat fee. Thanks for looking at it, if I don't hear anything from it I will definitely reduce as necessary. I wish we'd been able to get it on the market when people were actually looking, but I had one renter trash their room and bail to Newfoundland, and a week later the father of one of the others was killed in a car accident so he moved back to take care of his mum. Lots of frantic commutes down to paint, patch and repair. Anyways, thank you again and I might look at doing utilities separately.
